Recruiters will now have instant visibility of reference attachments when Zinc's AI is unable to process them. 

When referees send a reference as a PDF or email attachment rather than using Zinc's reference link, our extraction AI reads the attachment and inserts the required information onto the platform. However, in cases where the file is missing a required field, such as end date or job title, or the file is unreadable, our extraction tool is unable to complete the upload. 

With this update, if extraction can't take place, the attachment will now be automatically uploaded to the reference card giving recruiters visibility of the document instantly. This stops key reference details being hidden from your view  while they're manually processed in the background.

What you need to know:

• Clear flagging: the "Full details not provided" badge shows on the card, and it will be marked as "Consider" so you know at a glance which references need a closer look.
• Faster resolution: with the attachment visible right away, you can review and action it yourself rather than waiting on a support ticket.
