New look for PDF reports

We've given PDF reports a visual refresh, so they're easier to read and quicker to take in. It's live today for reports you download from Zinc and for reports we send through your integrations.

What you need to know

You don't need to do anything to get the new reports. They're already switched on. If you ever need the old format, there's a "Download legacy reports" option in Zinc as a temporary backup for the next few weeks.

• Downloads from Zinc: "Download report" now gives you the new format.
• Integrations: reports we send to your ATS or HRIS use the new format too. The legacy option only covers reports you download from Zinc.

What's new

• Key details up top: the review status, how many checks are complete, and the candidate's name, email, and report ID now sit together at the start of the report.
• One timeline: work history, the CV check summary, and references now sit together by employer, so you can follow the story without flipping between sections.
• Clearer at a glance: short summaries like "5 years" and "1 non-employment", and badges like "Verified against their ID", show you what matters before you read the detail.
• Built with customers: a group of customers used the new reports first, and their feedback shaped the final design.
